One of those weekends...
It's a holiday weekend and i'm taking advantage of the quiet internet and mostly quiet house (kids are gone for a month to Florida) to get some projects done and out the door.
I've made a lot of progress on my latest novella when lo and behold I received edits last night from my editor. Ack!
So today has been writing, editing and revisions on a completed project that needed cleaning.

One new thing I did besides write is join Twitter. sighs... I swore I would not join another social network. MySpace and Facebook take up so much time, but alas I am weak and was sucked in. So if you would like to check me out there and follow my news there please visit me at http://twitter.com/elizagaylebooks
What are you doing this holiday weekend?

I've been utterly sucked into Twitter but I have let Facebook and MySpace lapse. I try to check into those at least once a week. Twitter is fun. It's like getting random text messages. I use Twitbin which ties right into my FireFox browser so they just refresh while I'm working on other stuff. I've found some fun people to follow (like you). Only I can't remember how I found people. SNORT Luck on those edits!
Oh see I just learned something new about Twitter. So i must check out this Twitbin because I love things that make life easier. Thanks.
Now off to Twitter to see what everyone is up to. lol

I haven't tried Twitter yet, but since I might one day get thrown in jail in a foreign country, I suppose I should.
Who knows, Twitter might save your life one day!

I've been hearing a lot of talk about Twitter lately...hmmm--might have to check it out!
Well, it wasn't a holiday weekend here in Oz, but I still had a good one. I brainstormed a new idea, started reading DRAGON WYTCH, and just enjoyed having the hubby home for the weekend. He works too many hours during the week. :/
I've heard a bit about Twitter too, but I'm trying to stay away. I mean, I just set up with LJ the other day. Lol.
What can I say, I am a bad twitter influence. I've gotten more than a few people hooked this week. lol
But it sure is fun...
